2026 Spartan Travel Softball

The 2026 Spartan Travel Softball Program anticipates fielding teams in 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U. Our summer Travel program is for players who want to make a serious commitment to playing competitive fast-pitch softball. The teams participate in winter indoor practice and conditioning to prepare for the upcoming spring and summer Travel season. Tryouts will be held on July 12. If you have questions or your player is unable to attend the scheduled tryout date above, please contact our Spartan Travel Committee at [email protected] by June 20 to potentially coordinate an alternative date/time, subject to availability.

If our turnout meets expectations, we will have multiple teams at each division and will roster them as A and B teams. This will give our most talented players the opportunity to play with similarly skilled teammates on more competitive teams. Players on the other team will continue developing skills and play games against like competition. The most experienced players on each team will have opportunities to earn more playing time, get experience at more positions, and develop skills as team leaders.

In 2026, we expect each Travel team will play in a minimum of 6 weekend tournaments, including 1 out-of-town tournament. Fees will be $2,100 and includes Fall Ball, the winter indoor training program including skill development, indoor hitting practices, tournament fees, field and umpire costs, any applicable House League fees, as well as coaches' salaries.

The following defines the 2026 division for each player based on their age and typically associated school grade (for reference only):

16U: 9/1/2008 - 8/31/2010 (10th and 11th grade)
14U: 9/1/2010 - 8/31/2012 (8th and 9th grade)
12U: 9/1/2012 - 8/31/2014 (6th and 7th grade)
10U: 9/1/14 and later (5th grade and younger)

If you have previously created a username and password for the NGSA website, you should use those to register. If you have not previously registered with the NGSA, you will need to create an account and complete additional basic registration information. We strongly suggest you use a computer instead of a tablet or phone during the registration process.

Please be aware that new players will be required to upload a copy of your daughter’s birth certificate for proof of age (required for the league and tournaments). We recommend that you have an electronic copy of your daughter’s birth certificate prior to starting registration. The preferred format is .pdf.

All registrations must be completed on-line. Please only register each player for her applicable age level.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ONLY PAYMENT DUE AT REGISTRATION IS $50 FOR THE 12U, 14U, and 16U Age level. No payment is due for 10U!
