Spring House League
REGISTRATION UPDATE: Registration for Spring House League 2024 has closed. Keep an eye out for registration for our summer House League Plus program.
Our House League program is specifically designed for instruction and inclusion. The program accepts 2nd through 9th grade girls regardless of their experience, ability, or residency. Having fun while participating in low-pressure fast-pitch softball instruction is the priority of the program.
This program is made up of 3 different divisions based on the school grade of the players:
- Ponytail: 2nd & 3rd graders
- Minors: 4th & 5th graders
- Majors: 6th, 7th, 8th, & 9th graders
Our 2024 House League season starts in early April, and ends by May 30th. The season typically includes 8 to 10 regular season games per team, followed by a single-elimination playoff and 'World Series' for each division (all teams get at least one playoff game). There is also an All Star Game as part of our annual Spring Fling event.
Registration fees for the 2024 House League season will be $265 for Northbrook residents ($295 for non-residents). NGSA also has a fee assistance program, as we never want financial hardship to prevent a girl from experiencing the sport. Additionally, we offer instructional House clinics in March to help girls improve their skills before the season starts. Please be on the lookout for future emails and website updates regarding these March clinics, including dates, times, and fees.
