Potential Sponsors The Northbrook Girls Softball Association once again seeks support from local businesses to act as sponsors for one of our Travel or House League Teams. As you may know, NGSA was founded in 1997 and is a not-for-profit organization to promote sportsmanship and instruction for young female softball players, 3rd through 8th grade. NGSA is operated by an all-volunteer Board Of Directors, all of who live in Northbrook. In addition, most all of our players are also Northbrook residents. NGSA works hard with all participants to promote good sportsmanship, teach sound fundamental skills and community respect. In 2011 we have fielded 18 House League teams along with 7 Travel squads that will play in North Shore Leagues and local tournaments. More girls than ever are participating in Northbrook softball as evidenced by all the uniform clad young ladies around town during the spring and summer months. Since 1997 we have received very generous support from local businesses and others with close ties to the community. Without such support, NGSA would not be able to provide such a high quality program to these young ladies. |
